Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active SLP license issued by the state board (or eligibility for licensure)
- CCC-SLP credentials, or eligibility to complete your CFY under supervision
- Previous experience working with high school students or within school-based settings is a plus
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
What You'll Do:
- Evaluate students for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support student success
- Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions as appropriate
- Document progress, maintain thorough records, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Provide guidance, resources, and strategies to support generalization of communication skills in the classroom
