Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state license in Maryland (or eligible)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with students with IEPs, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy for a caseload of approximately 25 students in grades 3–12 (ages 8–21), primarily high schoolers
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals tailored to emotional, behavioral, and academic differences
- Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate with faculty and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and legal standards
- Offer support in an alternative school environment
Role Details & Perks:
- Flexible, part-time schedule of 24–29 hours weekly (Wednesdays required off)
- Assignment starts ASAP with coverage needed through 6/25/26, plus potential for extension through the 2026–2027 school year
