This contract position provides the opportunity to deliver essential services in three locations: two elementary schools and one high school. You'll be joining a supportive network of SLPs, helping manage their caseloads by working full-time (37.5 hours per week) from now until the end of the school year.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- State licensure (or ability to obtain) for speech-language pathology
- Previous school-based experience is highly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to travel between multiple school sites
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students at assigned sites
- Collaborate with existing SLPs to effectively manage and reduce high caseloads
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed for optimal outcomes
- Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and other school professionals
