Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA CCC-SLP certification
- North Carolina state licensure as an SLP, or eligibility to obtain before start
- Experience in pediatric and/or school-based settings is strongly valued
- Teletherapy background or willingness to train highly regarded
- Ability to develop, document, and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored IEPs in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Provide direct therapy services to students in person and/or virtually
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support students’ needs
- Manage and organize evaluation and therapy documentation
- Address a variety of communication, language, and speech disorders appropriate to the pediatric school population
