Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and SLP licensure in Connecticut
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational teams
- Previous experience (internship or practicum) in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Organizational skills and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
- Design and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals based on student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development opportunities, and ongoing professional growth activities
- Serve as a resource for school staff and families regarding communication development and strategies
