Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state license/credential to practice as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and related documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a K-12 school environment is highly advantageous
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs in students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's goals
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and families to facilitate the delivery of services in the least restrictive environment
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting strategies to best serve diverse learners
- Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Offer consultation and training to staff regarding speech and language best practices
