Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, though Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply
- Experience working in school or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective treatment plans
- Efficiency in documenting progress and collaborating with educational teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders
- Complete thorough evaluations, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy and consultation services according to students’ IEPs
- Offer training and support for teachers and parents as needed
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and session notes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and collaborate regularly with educators and other service providers
