Speech Language Pathologist in Yorktown, VA
Step into an impactful role serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, diagnoses, and therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to create and implement individualized education and 504 plans
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services tailored to diverse student needs
- Monitor and document progress, regularly updating families and staff on student development
- Provide consultation and support for generalization of skills in classroom and home settings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible state license to practice as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
- Experience in school-based settings or with pediatric caseloads
- Teletherapy and Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants encouraged to apply
- SLPA experience, particularly in schools or healthcare, considered an asset
