Make a meaningful impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow providing essential itinerant services to preschool students. This contract opportunity is based in either Carbon or Lehigh County, serving children through early intervention programs. The assignment spans the extended 2026–2027 academic year and may transition to support school-age students, so flexibility is key.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Active provisional or temporary Pennsylvania SLP license required
- Eligible for SLP Clinical Fellowship (CFY) or recently graduated SLPs
- Experience or strong interest in early intervention and preschool populations preferred
- Ability to adapt to assignments ranging from preschool through grade 12
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Reliable transportation for travel between service sites within Carbon or Lehigh County
- Commitment to in-person service delivery only
Position Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language therapy services in compliance with IEP/IFSP goals
- Conduct evaluations, provide direct therapy, and monitor progress for a diverse caseload
- Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams in an itinerant model
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and reports as required
- Support smooth transitions for students moving from preschool to school-age programming
- Demonstrate flexibility to accommodate caseload or assignment changes as needed
Position Details & Benefits
- 35 hours per week following the Early Intervention calendar; assignment runs July 6, 2026, to June 11, 2027 (tentative)
