Empower young learners and help shape communication skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow working with Preschool Early Intervention. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support children at a crucial stage in their development, delivering itinerant services across Carbon County or Lehigh County. With assignments that may shift between preschool and school-age populations, adaptability and enthusiasm for working with students PreK–12 is key. The schedule is set for 35 hours per week, following an Early Intervention calendar year-round, with assignment dates from July 6, 2026, to June 11, 2027 (tentative).
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active provisional or temporary Speech-Language Pathologist license in Pennsylvania
- Clinical Fellowship (CFY) status, specifically with experience or strong interest in school-based/preschool settings
- Flexibility to move between preschool early intervention and possible school-age assignments
- Ability to provide in-person, itinerant services within assigned county
- Comfortable working independently across multiple sites
- Patient, adaptable, and skilled in building rapport with children and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech-language services for children ages 3–5 through itinerant early intervention models
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Assess, plan, and carry out interventions to address a range of speech and language disorders
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes compliant with school and state standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development as needed
- Adapt quickly to changes in caseload and assignments throughout the school year
