Exciting opportunities are available for passionate Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellows to provide itinerant services in preschool early intervention programs throughout Carbon and Lehigh counties. These contract positions offer the chance to make a lasting impact supporting young learners’ communication and developmental needs. With assignments based on school-year scheduling and the flexibility to work with students from PreK through grade 12, you’ll gain diverse experience within dynamic educational environments.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active provisional or temporary Pennsylvania SLP license required
- Completion of master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or pending graduation meeting all CFY requirements)
- Previous clinical placements or experience in school-based, pediatric, or early intervention settings highly preferred
- Ability to work in-person with flexibility to travel between service sites within Carbon or Lehigh County as caseload demands change
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapeutic services to preschool-aged students identified under early intervention programs in itinerant settings
- Adapt schedules and approaches as needed throughout the academic year, with possible assignments supporting school-aged students (PreK–12)
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation compliant with state and program guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide ongoing progress updates to students’ support teams
