School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Allentown, Pennsylvania

Step into a rewarding contract role focused on supporting young learners through early intervention services. This opportunity invites dedicated Clinical Fellows in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CF) to deliver itinerant SLP services across Carbon and Lehigh Counties. You'll work within preschool settings, providing essential support that fosters communication development at a crucial stage. Assignments may evolve throughout the school year, so adaptability to serve students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade is valued.
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and eligibility for CFY
- Active provisional or temporary Pennsylvania SLP license (proof required)
- Willingness to commute to assignments within Carbon or Lehigh Counties
- Adaptability to work across varying school placements and age ranges
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and other service providers
- Experience (including student placements) with pediatric or school-based populations a plus
Your key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to preschoolers, with flexibility for possible school-age assignments during the academic year
- Provide itinerant services, traveling to multiple school sites as required
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, monitor progress, and document intervention outcomes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain clear and timely communication with educators, administrators, and families
