Supervise an enthusiastic SLPA and directly manage a manageable caseload of 20 students in a supportive K-12 environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Maryland
- Maryland teaching certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school-based speech therapy settings preferred
- Ability to provide SLPA supervision (onsite/hybrid supervision as required)
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 20 students
- Oversee and mentor an SLPA as part of your daily/weekly duties
- Complete assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams, faculty, and parents
- Attend and contribute to required meetings and assist in developing IEPs as needed
- Maintain flexibility in service delivery with onsite or hybrid presence to ensure compliance with supervision requirements
