You'll collaborate closely with educators and families to assess students, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and foster successful communication skills in a friendly, engaging environment.
What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Maryland SLP License (ASHA CCCs required; CFYs considered)
- Experience in school settings or strong interest in school-based practice
- Skill in working with diverse student populations and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple locations
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for speech-language services
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver engaging, goal-focused therapy to students with diverse needs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and ongoing professional development
