Speech Language Pathologist in Princess Anne, MD

Key Qualifications:
- Current, valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Maryland Teaching Certification required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and organization skills
- Comfortable supervising and mentoring an SLPA
- Proficiency with remote therapy platforms for hybrid or virtual delivery
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs
- Supervise and support a SLPA with caseload management, treatment planning, and documentation
- Maintain clear, timely progress notes and comply with all reporting requirements
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary team members to support student success
- Administer assessments, write reports, and develop therapy goals as part of the IEP process
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for each student
- Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language therapy
