Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Maryland SLP License required
- Current Maryland Teaching Certificate
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience within schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Experience supervising SLPAs is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 20 students
- Supervise and mentor an SLPA, ensuring compliance and best practices
- Develop and implement IEP goals tailored to each student’s needs
- Document progress and communicate effectively with staff and families
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with teachers and other specialists
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school and state guidelines
