Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Maryland SLP License in good standing
- Maryland Teaching Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and supervisory skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech-language evaluation, therapy, and support to students on your caseload
- Supervise and mentor the on-site SLPA, ensuring effective delivery of services and compliance with district and state guidelines
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain clear documentation and progress reports in alignment with school and state standards
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success and carry out effective interventions
- Adapt services and materials for both in-person and virtual environments as needed
