An exciting contract opportunity is available for a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF-SLP) in a thriving educational setting near Westfield, MA. This role is dedicated to supporting school-aged students with speech and language needs, working exclusively onsite during the entire school year. Key Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts SLP license or eligibility as CF-SLP
- Proven experience working in a school-based environment is highly preferred
- Background in providing speech and language therapy to children and adolescents
- Proficiency in conducting assessments and evaluations for students
- Skilled in the development and implementation of IEP goals
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with teachers, special education professionals, and other multidisciplinary team members
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to diverse student populations within the school setting
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify student needs
- Develop, implement, and track progress on individualized IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators and staff to develop student-centric interventions
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with school policies and standards
- Engage with parents and guardians regarding student progress and recommendations
