Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current state licensure as required for practice in Ohio (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and reporting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students per individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Document therapy progress, maintain required records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Develop targeted intervention plans and deliver group and individual therapies
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and school policies
