Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license in Ohio
- Holds (or is eligible for) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Background in pediatrics and school-based SLP support, including assessment and direct therapy
- Experience (or strong interest) working with preschool, middle, and high school students
- Able to complete in-person assignments—remote options are not available
- Comfortable adapting to both play-based assessments and a variety of therapy modalities
- Open to candidates seeking travel assignments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document comprehensive speech-language assessments, including preschool play-based evaluations
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students in preschool, middle, and high school settings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement therapy plans
- Contribute to IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Provide consultative support to classroom teachers and staff as needed
- Foster a positive, engaging learning environment for diverse learners
