Key qualifications and experience:
- Hold a current Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and ODE credential
- Previous experience working within school settings
- Skilled at managing weighted caseloads, up to 80 school-age and 50 preschool students, or a combination within set ratios
- Proficiency with speech and language disorders across pediatrics, including PreK, elementary, middle, and high school
- Open to SLP-CCC and Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) candidates
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Providing direct speech-language therapy, evaluations, and diagnostics for a diverse student population
- Creating individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to unique student needs
- Collaborating with educators, special education staff, and families
- Participating in professional development and maintaining meticulous records to support student progress
- Ensuring all district, state, and federal guidelines for special education services are met
