This assignment is set to begin around August 24th and continue through June 4th, 2027, allowing you to build strong relationships with students and staff. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, implement individualized education plans, and help students develop essential communication skills that support their academic and personal growth.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome
- Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or healthcare SLP roles is a plus
- Ability to work effectively with PreK-12 students and adapt interventions to diverse needs
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments for students referred for speech and language services
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and therapy plans
- Provide direct intervention to students, both individually and in small groups
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student success
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and district policies
