This contract role offers a fulfilling part-time schedule for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC certification. Responsibilities include:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services, targeting individual student needs within elementary and general education classrooms.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to design effective intervention strategies.
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document student progress.
- Present assessment results, progress, and recommendations to colleagues Savannah and Jordan.
- Provide resources and guidance to teachers and families to reinforce communication skills.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations related to therapy services.
Desired experience and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- Ohio state SLP licensure, or eligibility to obtain.
- Prior experience working in elementary or K-12 school settings preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Flexible, with the ability to adapt interventions to a diverse student population.
