Embark on a rewarding full-time contract opportunity for the 2026/2027 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist, located in Marion, OH and near Upper Sandusky. This is an in-person position designed for professionals passionate about making a difference in educational settings, working with diverse student populations from preschool through high school.
You’ll engage in play-based assessments with preschoolers, deliver direct services in preschool classrooms, and support middle and high school students with their speech and language needs. This opportunity is ideal for both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFY), and welcomes travel SLPs seeking an engaging school-based environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Ohio SLP license (required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows considered
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based speech-language services
- Skill in play-based assessments and a comfort with a range of student ages
- Commitment to in-person service delivery for the duration of the school year
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Conduct play-based evaluations for preschoolers to determine eligibility and need for services
- Provide evidence-based, direct therapy to preschool, middle, and high school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and communicate regularly with families and educators
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning sessions
