You will play a vital role in helping students improve their communication and language skills, providing impactful interventions and meaningful support. The assignment is set at a maximum of 20 hours per week, starting as soon as possible and continuing through the end of the school year.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid Ohio licensure for Speech-Language Pathologists
- Prior experience providing services to pediatric and/or school-aged populations
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech and language therapy to a caseload of 18 students, across K-8 grades
- Manage scheduling and plan interventions to accommodate 2,700 therapy minutes each quarter
- Assess and document student progress, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with educators and parents
- Offer recommendations and resources to support students’ communication needs within the classroom
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
