You’ll be primarily working onsite with students, fostering communication skills in an engaging environment. For those seeking a bit more flexibility, hybrid models are available for both local and travel professionals, with VOCO options considered as a last resort.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Active or eligible Florida SLP license
- Pediatric or school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Passion for collaborative, student-centered therapy
- Interest/experience in supervising CFY (not mandatory, but welcomed)
- Great communication and organization skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy individually and in groups
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and document progress
- Develop and implement IEPs with a student-focused approach
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals
- Optional: Provide supervision for CFY as needed (up to 2 hours weekly)
- Adjust caseload and support coverage for part-time and maternity leave assignments
