School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - West Chester, Pennsylvania
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-4 learners in a vibrant educational setting near West Chester, PA. Two dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist positions are available offering direct and indirect services to students within an Autism Support program, as well as opportunities for meaningful collaboration and progress monitoring.
You’ll work with a manageable caseload of 30-40 students, grades K-4, in a dedicated primary building (468/86) housing the Autism Support program. These roles are designed to provide a flexible schedule based on AM/PM coverage needs, with hours ranging from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. There may also be periodic opportunities to support students in middle or high school, all conveniently located on the same campus.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current SLP – CCC licensure required (Clinical Fellowship not considered at this time)
- Experience working with school-aged children, especially in grades K-4
- Strong ability to provide both direct and consultative services for articulation, language, and AAC device use
- Comprehensive skills in progress monitoring, standardized testing, and evaluation completion
- Expertise in developing IEP goals/SDI and potential case management for speech-language only IEPs
- Collaborative spirit for partnering with educators and interdisciplinary teams
- Availability to start by 8/10/26 or as soon as possible
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and assessments for articulation and language needs
- Utilize and support student communication through AAC devices
- Conduct observations, collaborate with staff, and provide indirect services
- Develop and monitor IEP goals and individualized supports
- Complete required documentation and evaluations
