Key Qualifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Pennsylvania state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
- Prior experience in school-based settings is highly desirable
- Strong ability to manage both group and individual sessions effectively
- Excellent communication and case management skills, especially with IEPs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language therapy for 8th and 9th grade students, both individually and in groups
- Provide targeted support and interventions aligned with students’ IEPs
- Manage a caseload of approximately 8-10 speech-only IEP students, ensuring compliance and timely documentation
- Collaborate closely with teaching staff, administrators, and families to foster student progress
- Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive environment that supports communication development
