Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Texas is required
- Experience within school-based settings is highly valued
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred
- Must be willing to complete fingerprinting and credentialing through TEA, with verification timelines up to 10 business days
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging speech-language therapy services to K–12 students
- Offer supervision and mentorship to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
- Serve as the case manager for assigned campuses, ensuring thorough documentation and supporting compliance with educational guidelines
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and family members to address the unique needs of every student on your caseload
- Organize, prioritize, and rotate between elementary and high school environments as an itinerant specialist as needed
