School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Waterford, Wisconsin
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as an SLP in a vibrant school environment. This contract position is available for the full school year to cover a maternity leave. You’ll work Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., collaborating with educators and families to promote student success.
Key Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current state licensure/certification as required for school-based SLPs
• Previous experience in a school setting, especially with elementary students, preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and tailor interventions to various learning needs
• Commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement effective intervention strategies
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
• Adapt therapy approaches to address a wide spectrum of speech, language, and communication needs
• Serve as a resource and advocate for speech-language services within the school community
