Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Wisconsin
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in a school-based setting, especially working with elementary-age children
- Strong ability to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Effective communicator with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct SLP services to elementary students in accordance with their IEPs and best practices
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments as needed
- Develop individualized goals and monitor students’ progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and engage parents in supporting student development
