Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid SLP licensure for schools, with SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience working with PreK through 6th grade students in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students from PreK through 6th grade
- Assess and evaluate students’ communication abilities to create targeted therapy plans
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) alongside multidisciplinary teams
- Consult with classroom teachers and support staff to integrate strategies into daily activities
- Maintain accurate documentation and track student progress toward goals
