Key Qualifications:
- Active CT SLP CCC license
- Proven experience working as a speech-language pathologist in a school setting
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor Clinical Fellows (CF) and SLPAs; previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Dedication to supporting diverse learning needs among K-2nd students
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to K-2nd grade students, targeting individualized goals
- Supervise and mentor the assigned Clinical Fellow and SLPA, ensuring compliance with professional standards and school guidelines
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Monitor, document, and report student progress
- Participate in team meetings, provide consultation, and deliver training as needed
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality and ethical standards
