Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience or training in a school setting is preferred
- Strong ability to offer direct therapy services to children ages Pre-K through 2nd grade
- Solid communication skills for successful collaboration with students, families, and educational staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students, targeting a range of needs
- Attend Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings and collaborate in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and maintain thorough documentation of student progress
- Consult and work with classroom teachers to support students across educational environments
- Foster a supportive learning space that encourages student growth and engagement
