Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Canterbury, CT

This contract position covers the 2026-2027 school year and is available for both full-time and part-time candidates. In this role, you’ll work in person during regular school hours, from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, and provide essential speech and language services to Pre K-2 students. Qualifications & Experience:
- Active SLP-CCC or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY in progress)
- Prior experience in school-based speech therapy or strong pediatric clinical background
- Familiarity with IEP development, PPT (Planning and Placement Team) meetings, and educational documentation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with school staff and families
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students in Pre K-2
- Assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for communication disorders within a school context
- Participate actively in PPTs, ensuring effective collaboration with educators and specialists
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of students’ IEPs
- Maintain thorough, accurate records of evaluations and progress
- Communicate regularly with teachers and parents regarding student achievement and strategies for support
