This contract to hire opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), who is passionate about supporting children’s communication development. The current caseload includes 14 students and is expected to expand, offering valuable experience with a diverse range of needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in Connecticut
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working with Pre-K or early childhood populations preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable conducting evaluations and managing documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech/language services to a growing Pre-K caseload
- Complete thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Attend and contribute to Planning and Placement Team (PPT) meetings
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
- Track compensatory time and provide make-up sessions as needed to meet service requirements
Position Details:
- Schedule: 2.5 days per week, with potential for increased hours as caseload grows
- Supportive team environment focused on student-centered care
