School Speech Language Pathologist - Waterbury, Connecticut

There are two openings available—both focused on elementary caseloads—with a 35-hour workweek. You may work across two school sites, collaborating with dedicated professionals to provide comprehensive speech-language services for young learners.
What we’re looking for:
- Valid and active Speech-Language Pathology license in CT
- Previous experience in a school-based setting
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) holders are highly encouraged to apply
- Open to Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates—supervision support is available, though bandwidth is limited
- Ability to commute onsite and effectively manage caseloads across multiple locations
- Must complete district-specific fingerprinting and background check process
- SLPAs are not eligible for this opportunity
Role responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and maintaining accurate student records
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff to facilitate student success
- Adapting to the needs of multiple school sites, with strong communication and time management skills
- Attending virtual interviews and onboarding as required by the district
