This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to implement evidence-based therapy and foster communication growth for students throughout the full school year.
What you'll bring:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) certification and active CCC credential
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably at the elementary level
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress monitoring
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Dedication to providing individualized, student-centered therapy
- Ability to cultivate rapport with students, staff, and families
Key responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary-aged students
- Develop and deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Use a variety of modalities and tools to facilitate communication skill development
- Provide guidance and resources to staff and parents to help support carryover of skills
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment
