Speech Language Pathologist in Shelton, CT

Key Qualifications:
- Possession of current CT Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Experience supporting school-aged children, especially in middle and high school
- Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students at both the middle and high school levels
- Develop tailored intervention plans, deliver direct therapy, and monitor progress for a diverse caseload
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student success in and beyond the classroom
- Document sessions, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP development and meetings
- Provide guidance and training to school staff and families regarding communication strategies and student needs
- Stay updated on best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
