Key Qualifications:
- Hold valid state licensure or certification (SLP or SLPA)
- Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEPs, communication disorders, and therapy best practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents
- Commitment to supporting students’ academic and social success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students, individually or in small groups, according to IEPs or 504 plans
- Assess, diagnose, and monitor students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to design and implement effective intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture through active engagement and communication
