Speech Language Pathologist in Trumbull, CT

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Successful completion of a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Previous experience providing SLP services in schools is highly valued
- In-depth knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with special education compliance
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with educational staff, parents, and other service providers effectively
- Enthusiasm for helping children overcome speech, language, and communication challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and progress monitoring
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and communicate findings to families and staff
- Develop individualized treatment plans and implement evidence-based interventions
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and service delivery
