Speech Language Pathologist in Waterbury, CT

Key Qualifications:
- Holds a valid state license and certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Familiarity with individualized education plans (IEPs) and related documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to effectively manage a caseload spanning PreK through 12th grade
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted speech and language therapy in alignment with students’ IEP goals
- Assess, diagnose, and develop intervention strategies for students with communication disorders
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely progress reports for ongoing evaluations
- Work cooperatively with educators, families, and other related service providers to support student success
- Adapt therapy methods to meet the unique developmental needs across grade levels
- Attend necessary meetings and contribute to the planning for students' ESY services
Position Details:
- Contract, part-time assignment from June 24th to July 17th
- 8:00am – 12:00pm, four days per week (flexible schedule based on your availability)
- Serve a diverse and engaging caseload of PreK-12th grade students
