Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This part-time contract opportunity focuses on delivering quality speech and language services to a diverse PreK-12th grade caseload. Hours are 8am to 12pm, four days a week, with scheduling flexibility to accommodate your needs. The assignment runs from June 24th through July 17th, providing essential therapy and support during the summer session.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure as an SLP
  • Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for PreK-12th grade students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Comfortable collaborating with educators, support staff, and families
  • Flexibility to adapt to student needs and program goals

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Conduct assessments and maintain thorough documentation of student progress
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to support communication goals within the classroom
  • Participate in relevant meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Develop creative, engaging, and individualized interventions for a wide range of needs
  • Communicate clearly with parents and caregivers as needed regarding student progress
