What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Valid state licensure for SLP in Connecticut
- Experience providing therapy in a school or pediatric setting
- Ability to travel between two elementary schools within the same district
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Dedication to fostering each child’s individual strengths and progress
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct speech-language therapy services per IEP specifications
- Conducting screenings, evaluations, and assessments for qualifying students
- Developing and updating individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with school teams
- Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate records
- Communicating effectively with parents, teachers, and support staff
- Participating in IEP meetings and engaging with multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptively splitting caseload and travel between two schools
