Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for the state of Connecticut
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Flexibility to travel between two schools

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students, following IEP goals and district guidelines
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to foster student success
  • Conduct evaluations, develop plans, and document progress with accuracy
  • Adapt services to meet the needs of diverse learners in both school environments
  • Engage in team meetings and contribute to school-wide efforts for student support
