Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Rhode Island
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in a school environment working with K-12 students preferred
- Knowledge of best practices for pediatric speech and language needs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services for K-12 students per individualized education plans
- Conduct assessments, track progress, and document outcomes
- Consult and collaborate with educators and families to support student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and input regarding speech and language development
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date records in alignment with school and district policies
