Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Providence, Rhode Island

This contract position is tailored for a Speech-Language Pathologist or experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistant who is RIDE certified and licensed in Rhode Island. You’ll deliver therapy and support on-site or via teletherapy two days per week, ensuring flexibility for your schedule while helping children thrive both academically and socially.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- RIDE certification (Rhode Island Department of Education) – required
- Active Rhode Island SLP or SLPA license
- Experience with pediatric populations and/or K-12 students
- Background in direct and virtual/teletherapy environments a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA experience in school or healthcare settings
- Ability to develop creative, individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students two days per week
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough records
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
- Implement IEPs and monitor progress toward communication goals
- Engage in data-driven decision making and contribute to school success
