This flexible, part-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work two days per week supporting a diverse pediatric population. You’ll deliver targeted speech-language pathology services onsite and/or via teletherapy to help students reach their full academic and communicative potential.
Qualifications:
- Valid Rhode Island SLP license required
- RIDE (Rhode Island Department of Education) certification required
- CCC-SLP and/or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged
- Experience in school settings strongly preferred
- Proficiency working with pediatric populations across a range of communication disorders
- Experience delivering therapy in-person and via teletherapy platforms
- Knowledgeable in documentation, progress monitoring, and IEP process
- SLPAs with appropriate credentials and school or healthcare background also considered
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments for referred students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and contribute to IEPs
- Provide direct therapy services (in person and/or through teletherapy)
- Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
- Support generalization of speech and language skills to the classroom environment
