Qualifications:
- RIDE (RI Department of Education) certification required
- Rhode Island SLP license required
- ASHA CCC preferred; SLP-CFY candidates welcomed
- Experience in school-based or pediatric SLP settings encouraged
- Teletherapy savvy and comfortable with virtual service delivery
- SLPA candidates considered with applicable credentials
- Strong collaborative and communication skills with educators, staff, and families
- Organized, self-motivated, and passionate about making a positive impact
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate speech, language, and communication abilities of students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy—either onsite or through teletherapy platforms
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and eligibility reports
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Consult and provide strategies for classroom modifications and intervention
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise to educational planning
