Exciting opportunities await skilled Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a dynamic contract role supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels. This onsite position serves students in the PreK-12th grade range over a 35-hour workweek, with some flexibility for you to build your schedule within school-day hours. There are two openings, beginning with the 2026-2027 academic year and the potential for Extended School Year responsibilities in 2025-2026.
As a valued part of this educational setting, you will be relied upon to independently manage a full caseload and provide comprehensive speech-language services—ranging from assessments and direct therapy to collaboration with IEP teams and documenting progress notes.
Qualifications & Experience Desired:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active Michigan SLP license (please submit a current screenshot for verification)
- Previous experience in school-based settings, ideally covering a range of K-12 students
- Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities
- Capacity to work independently and handle all responsibilities typically expected of a school SLP
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy to students, both individually and in groups
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and required reports
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and other support staff
- Effectively service a diverse student population with varying needs
