Applicants must be self-driven and confident in independently performing all essential functions of a school-based SLP. You'll have the chance to impact students’ academic journey while managing evaluations, therapy, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Highlights of what we’re seeking:
- Current, active Michigan SLP license (please include a screenshot with your application; verify at the link provided)
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in school settings, especially with PreK-12 populations
- Ability to service a broad spectrum of student needs, including evaluations, direct therapy, IEP writing, and participation in team meetings
- Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills
- Comfort with working independently within a supportive school community
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload (PreK-12)
- Conducting assessments and managing comprehensive reporting
- Developing and implementing individualized educational plans
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families for optimal student outcomes
